While reading an article in the Boston Globe I stumbled upon a quote in-which I am still digesting and rings so true.
“Our generation, we were raised to be employees, not employers,’’ Byam says. “It seemed mysterious and impossible.’’- Meredith Byam -owner of Poor Little Rich Girl, a consignment clothing business.
Thinking back on my own experiences and upbringing as a Gen-Xer where and when did this idea of being an employer creep in? How did it creep in?
